Dr. Richard L. Hall Scholarship in Flavor ScienceA Feeding Tomorrow/FEMA Campaign to Honor His Life and Work

The Flavor Extract and Manufacturers Association (FEMA) has generously established the Dr. Richard L. Hall Scholarship in Flavor Science. Dr. Hall, an IFT past president, has provided a lifetime of exceptional support and commitment to the flavor industry, FEMA, and IFT.

Dr. Hall is an integral part of the food industry's history. Through 50 years of dedicated service, Dr. Hall left an indelible mark on the flavor industry. He partnered with others to develop and implement the FEMA GRAS evaluation program. He served as president of IFT, FEMA, and the International Union of Food Science and Technology. He authored, co-authored, and co-edited more than 90 scientific and professional articles and books.

Each year, Feeding Tomorrow will award The Hall Scholarship to a graduate student in food science. View our criteria.
