Elizabeth Clark, IFTSA Past President

Background

Elizabeth Clark is a doctoral student in food science at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) where she studies sensory science and conducts research on the impact the relationship between food and human emotions has on food choice. 

IFT Highlights

Elizabeth is an active student member of IFT and is currently chair of the IFTSA Competitions Task Force. She previously served on the IFTSA Strategic Planning Task Force as well as the IFTSA Board of Directors as Vice President of Development and Communications where she managed the student association's social media assets, including the Science Meets Food blog. She has also served as a Student Representative for the Sensory and Consumer Sciences Division where she assisted with journal updates and content development. She is a member of the Washington, D.C. Section of IFT.
