Noel Anderson, PhD

Noel Anderson, PhDNoel Anderson is the Vice President of Analytical Insights and Beverage Applications for Global Beverages Research and Development. He leads the Analytical, Microbiology, Documentation, Statistics and Information Management groups that provide critical technical support to every project in Beverages R&D. Noel also helped create and leads the new Beverage Applications team. They are tasked with taking the new ingredients and platforms from Long Term Research and creating the technical knowledge that will enable them to drive breakthrough innovation across our beverage portfolio.

Noel joined PepsiCo 14 years ago after working at General Foods and Kraft for 18 years.  While there, Noel worked in almost every product category including Jell-O Ready to Eat Pudding and Gelatin Snacks, Post Cereals as well as serving as VP of Research, Quality and Regulatory Affairs for Kraft Canada.

Noel received his BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Massachusetts in Food Science and Nutrition. He has chaired their Food Science Advisory Board for the past 12 years and was recently selected as a Distinguished Alumni of the University.  Noel is also very active in and has been selected as a Fellow of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).
