MondelezEvan Turek was an exceptional mentor who was dedicated to helping shape the next generation of food science scientists and developing leaders in the field. In Mr. Turek’s honor, Mondelez International will award one Feeding Tomorrow candidate a paid internship for the summer of 2018.

Our Interns and Co-ops are matched with a Manager, Mentor and Buddy who will nurture them to ensure a best-in-class experience, while working on meaningful projects that contribute to the business.

The recipient will have the opportunity to intern at Mondelēz International in the summer of 2018 as a Research and Development & Quality Intern. The department of the internship assignment depends on Mondelēz International’s needs. The internship will be located in East Hanover, New Jersey.

Feeding Tomorrow’s Intern+ offer package with Mondelez International includes:

  • One (1) paid summer 2018 internship with subsidized housing provided by Mondelēz International
  • One (1) $1,000 tuition scholarship for 2018-2019 academic year provided by the Feeding Tomorrow Evan Turek Memorial Endowment Fund
  • Opportunity to attend IFT18 in Chicago, Illinois in July 2018
  • Opportunity to connect with other Intern+ recipients for additional networking and learning throughout the summer (virtually and in-person)

List of what Mondelēz International is looking for in an intern:

  • Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time rising sophomore, junior, or senior university student pursuing a food science degree *** If you are currently a senior who will be graduating before May 2018 you are not eligible for this scholarship.
  • Applicant’s major must align with an area of interest at Mondelēz International (agricultural engineering, biochemistry, chemical engineering, dairy science, food chemistry, food engineering, food packaging, non-thermal processing or related discipline)
  • Applicant must have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA in food science
  • Applicant must demonstrate exceptional leadership experience
  • Applicant be a IFT member at time of application
  • Applicant must have or obtain a F1 visa if he or she is an international student
