Jack Link’s to acquire Unilever meat snack business

Jack Link’s Beef Jerky has announced plans to purchase Unilever’s meat snacks business, primarily sold under the BiFi brand (Germany, Benelux, Austria, and Switzerland) and the Peperami brand (United Kingdom and Ireland).

Jack Link’s Beef Jerky has announced plans to purchase Unilever’s meat snacks business, primarily sold under the BiFi brand (Germany, Benelux, Austria, and Switzerland) and the Peperami brand (United Kingdom and Ireland). The acquisition, which is subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close by the end of March 2014. The transaction also includes the manufacturing facility in Ansbach, Germany. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
