Hudson Institute Reports Better for You Foods Increasing Sales Growth Between 2007-2011
A recent Robert Wood Johnson Foundation funded report by the Hudson Institute determined that food and beverage companies with higher percentage of product sales in the better-for-you category performed better financially.  Specifically, consumer packaged goods companies with a higher proportion of their sales in the better-for-your category demonstrated relatively higher sales growth, operating profits, returns to shareholders, and company reputation.
