IFT has collaborated with UL Knowledge Services to offer the following self-paced food safety online course to IFT members at a 15% discount. The course is designed to help professionals institute food safety cultures within their organizations to ensure food products are safe and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Designed for food industry executives, this course introduces the concept of a Food Safety Culture and provides a step-by-step blueprint for how it can be implemented within an organization. Based on the methodology that all employees should be empowered to work towards a common goal—producing food products in a safe and sanitary work environment—the course guides executives through the process of motivating and creating this organizational culture. It also establishes a framework for corporate management responsibility, communication of food safety objectives to all company employees, and continuous improvement in HACCP and overall food safety systems.
