Moira McGrath is president of OPUS International, Inc., the company she founded in 1993 in response to the Food Science industry’s growing demand for highly specialized, professional executive placement assistance. She and her staff focus on placing scientists in research and development and quality assurance in the food and food ingredients industry. Her blog,www.bestfoodsciencejobs.com and her website, www.foodscience.com both give up to date and helpful hints in finding the best positions in the field of food science. She wrote several chapters in the book "Careers in Food Science", and has spoken at several IFT Annual Meetings regarding how to find a position in food science and writing a winning resume. She has also done two webinars for the IFT Student Association, "Food Science Job Market 2011" and "In Search of a Job in Food Science". Moira graduated for Cornell University and is a member of the Advisory Council for the Food Science departments of both Cornell and the University of Florida. She was also the founder of the South Florida IFT Chapter in the 90's. From 2006-2009, she served on the Board of Directors for IFT and she is now in her second year on the Nominations and Elections committee, and is incoming Chair.

Melissa assists students with exploring career options and finding a path that not only makes use of their skills and strengths but also matches their interests and values. She also help students with job search related issues and helps them transition from college to the world of work. In addition, Melissa teaches the Professional Development Course at the university. She is rewarded in her career by seeing students find their passion and achieve their goals while learning about themselves and gaining confidence in who they are and what they have to offer.
Jennifer A Willig
Originally from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Jennifer attended the University of Kentucky and became an IFT student member in 2003. Upon graduating with a B.S. in Food Science in 2006, Jennifer moved to Columbus, Ohio to attend The Ohio State University, where she received her Master’s Degree in Food Science and Nutrition in 2009. While at The Ohio State University, Jennifer took on a leadership role in The Ohio State University Food Science Club, where she served as the Food Science Club Treasurer in 2007-2008. Jennifer also became active on the IFTSA Board of Directors where she held the IFTSA Vice President of Membership Experiences position from 2008-2009. In 2009, Jennifer became the IFTSA Vice President of Finance. Today, Jennifer is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Kentucky with a research focus in functional foods and food safety. Jennifer is the IFTSA President. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out and attending live music events.
