Michael A. Bush, Vice President of Business Development. Bush has extensive knowledge in the medical, biotech and healthcare arena and has over 17 years of experience in business, including founding a national business growth consultancy firm, co-founding a national biomedical services firm and working on medical acquisitions and mergers for GE Medical Systems. Since establishing Ganeden Labs, Ganeden’s licensing division, in 2006, Bush has seen the company’s probiotic bacteria, GanedenBC30 be added into over 40 food and beverage products from nationally-recognized companies, including Red Mango frozen yogurt, Pierre’s Ice Cream, Max Muscle, Amway, Heartland Sweeteners, Turtle Island Soup and R.C. Bigelow Tea. Bush has also been instrumental in establishing Ganeden’s first animal feed distribution agreement and licensing agreement with a major pharmaceutical company. In addition, he has secured international licensing agreements and the inclusion of GanedenBC30 into leading OTC products. Bush has received numerous awards for his business leadership, including being named to Crain’s Cleveland’s 40 Most Influential People Under 40, was a four time Weatherhead 100 winner, been awarded an EDI Innovation award and most recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the International Probiotic Association (IPA). He holds degrees in Biomedical Technology from North Central State College and Business Administration from Tiffin University and is active in regional and economic development and entrepreneurial education initiatives.
