The Certified Food Scientist (CFS) Preparatory Course is an optional course for those interested in obtaining their Certified Food Scientist credential. While designed to prepare those applying for their CFS credential, this course is also valuable for attendees looking to brush up on their applied scientific knowledge in a group setting.
The course includes 1 ½ days of face-to-face instruction, followed by a series of 5 weekly webcasts and heck-in calls with course faculty and participants. This is an interactive course that engages participants in discussion and content dialogue. In addition, participants will have access to practice questions which are modeled after the content domains found on the CFS exam:
-Food Chemistry and Food Analysis
-Food Engineering -Food Microbiology
-Quality Assurance and Quality Control
-Sensory Evaluation and Consumer Testing
