About the Course

The CFS Prep Course offers participants access to expert instructors, access to a series of practice tests, and an engaging online community for asking questions and sharing tips. The course reviews eight content areas covered on the CFS Exam:

  • Food Chemistry and Food Analysis
  • Food Engineering
  • Food Microbiology
  • Food Safety
  • Product Development
  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control
  • Regulatory
  • Sensory Evaluation and Consumer Testing

Continuing Education Hours

Individuals holding the following credentials may earn 10-14 contact hours* for completion of this course: Registered Dietitians, Dietetic Technicians, Certified Research Chefs, Certified Culinary Scientists and current Certified Food Scientists

*Number of hours is subject to change or plus/minus hours based on course length and type. Check with your accrediting agency for approval.
