Deepa Shenoy, Ph.D., Open Innovation-Amway Global R&D
Deepa Shenoy, PhD is part of the Open Innovation team at Amway Global R&D. She develops innovative product strategies and market opportunities in functional foods, beverages and supplements. Deepa champions new technologies for the healthy aging and wellness consumer of Amway’s $12 Billion direct-sell marketplace of 5M business owners across 85 countries.
Deepa is a Molecular Biologist with a doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Her expertise is in the areas of Aging, Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases. She has a broad range of responsibilities ranging from new product discovery, design and development to patents and regulatory compliance in food, beverage and nutraceuticals. Deepa is also an award-winning entrepreneur and founder of a health food company for which she has developed and launched novel ready-to-eat functional foods in market.
