Daryl Lund, Ph.D., is retiring in May from his role as Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Food Science (JFS). He was honored at a dinner at IFT's Wellness 12 conference for his nine years of dedicated service. Lund worked to make publishing in the journals free for IFT members, created new topical sections, supported technological advances in distribution, and has worked with the journal editors to continually raise the quality of content.
Allen Foegeding, Ph.D., succeeds Lund. Foegeding is a William Neal Reynolds Distinguished Professor in the Department of Food, Bioprocessing and Nutrition Sciences at North Carolina State University.
