Martin Cole, PhD, Anne Goldman, Dallas Hoover, PhD, and Cathy Kapica, PhD were elected to the IFT Board of Directors; Martha Rhodes Roberts, PhD, Lu Ann Williams, and Raymond Winger, PhD were elected as IFT Elections Committee members.

IFT recently announced the new President-Elect as Mary Ellen Camire, PhD, CFS. For over 13 years Camire has served as an IFT spokesperson to educate the public about food science. Camire is a professor of food science at the University of Maine and has served as a panelist on U.S. Department of Agriculture competitive grant panels. Camire has expertise in the fields of functional foods, diet and health, product development, sensory evaluation, and herbs and botanicals.
