Dr. Mulry brings more than 20 years' experience in various aspects of product
development, and technical and regulatory issues related to the food and dietary
supplement industries to her current position as president of FoodWise, a
technical and scientific consulting firm to the natural and organic food
industry.
Her expertise spans the areas of conventional foods, natural, organic, and
functional foods and dietary supplements. Since 1993, Mulry has been founder and
president of her food consulting business FoodWise, Inc. Prior to that, she was
vice president of research and development at Boulder-based Celestial
Seasonings, and has held technical positions in product development and
analytical chemistry at Kellogg's and Kraft Foods.
Dr. Mulry is also an IFT Professional Member and has been active in IFT's
Nutrition Division, Biotechnology Division , Food Chemistry Division, Product
Development Division, Marketing and Management Division, Religious and
Ethnic Foods Division, Nutraceutical and Functional Foods Division,
Fermented Foods and Beverages Division, Food Laws and
Regulations Division, and IFT's Rocky Mountain Section and Longhorn
Section.
