What They're Saying
Here what IFT Section members are saying about the Section Pilot Program
We all want our section to continue to be successful...
“The IFT is investing considerable resources and effort to retool for future success. We all want our section to continue to be successful and recognized as leaders by our National Leadership. Dawn and Linda and many of the other youthful members of our section are exactly what we need to ensure our continued future success.”

Oregon Section IFT Immediate Past Chair
I was able to connect with other section leaders to cross promote our events and have a larger number of attendees...
“Where do I start, I have to say that when I joined the board two years ago, I thought my resources were pretty much limited to the board. I guess I really did not ask the section members at the time. It was not until my first meeting experience with Sharon Kneebone that I knew I could contact national IFT with any questions. I must say that connecting with the staff at IFT not only made our planning easier and manageable it brought about a variety of ideas to promote our section and have increasing attendance. I can say through some feedback from national IFT (Sharon), I was able to connect with other section leaders to cross promote our events and have a larger number of attendees. That’s not all! With their help, we were able to bring the current president of IFT, Roger Clemens, in as a guest speaker for our event. The monthly meetings we have with other sections also helped generate new ideas for meeting, events, and information, and yes, the online tools provide a wide array of resources for the leaders from planning an event to administrative work. Finally, I can say that assistance from national IFT has made my role as chair less challenging and more fun in serving the local section of IFT.”
