| The objectives of the Division are to: Promote communication and interaction among innovative food technologists in industry, government, and academia. Provide a nucleus within IFT for organizing symposia and other programs for the dissemination of information pertaining to nonthermal food processing. Promote cooperative endeavors with other professional societies concerned with nonthermal food processing. Ensure that nonthermal food processing is an integral and essential component of food science and technology curricula.
