Clextral introduces new developments for Snaxpo

Extruder manufacturer, Clextral announced several new developments for the upcoming Snaxpo, snack food exhibition and show including products to make unique shapes, textures, and colors. Recent developments from Clextral’s R&D teams at the company’s pilot plants in Tampa, Florida, and Firminy, France, include co-extruded products with novel flavor combinations, bi-colored snacks, and bi-textured varieties. As nutrition and diet also play important roles in today’s snack food market, new products incorporate healthy ingredients such as whole grains, natural ingredients, proteins, fruits, vegetables and legumes (beans, lentils, peas, peanuts). Snack varieties include: multigrain chips, potato sticks, filled snacks and snack bars.
