“Gita has strong commercial experience and understands the foods industry and the segments we want to compete in,” said Marianne O’Shea, Director for North America. “Under her skilled guidance, we are confident that our Clarinol CLA, which was GRAS approved in July 2008, will begin to be included in many more daily food items, and will lead to further capitalizing on the launches planned in 2010. We believe that Gita will contribute significantly to our continued aggressive growth path.”
Lipid Nutrition has hired Gita Calton as a Technical Key Account Manager. Focusing on the functional food market, Calton’s primary responsibility will be the continual development of this market for Clarinol CLA, PinnoThin, and Marinol Omega-3 fish oils in the eastern region of the U.S. Prior to joining Lipid Nutrition, Calton was with Fuji Oils and DGM Holdings Ltd.
