Feeding America names Aiken President, CEO

Feeding America, the leading domestic hunger-relief charity in the United States, has announced that Bob Aiken will become President and CEO, effective Dec. 5.

Feeding America, the leading domestic hunger-relief charity in the United States, has announced that Bob Aiken will become President and CEO, effective Dec. 5. Aiken joins the organization following executive leadership positions at several Chicago, Ill.-based food companies, most recently as the CEO of Bolder Foods, a company founded to invest in specialty, ethnic, and natural food companies.

Prior to his role at Bolder Foods, Aiken spent six years with U.S. Foodservice where he began as the Executive Vice President of Strategy and Governance and ascended through the ranks to become President and CEO in 2007. Aiken also served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Chicago Food Depository, a member of Feeding America, from 2011–2012.
