C.W. Brabender Instruments Inc. has hired Jayne Bock to the staff of the Brabender Group of companies. Bock was most recently a Post-Doctoral Fellow for the Department of Food Science at the University of Guelph and brings many years of experience and expertise in food science research and development to the company. In her new role, Bock will be responsible for furthering the research and development efforts of the Brabender Group with its line of laboratory scale food testing instruments.
Bock obtained her Ph.D. in Food Science with a minor in Physical Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. She achieved her Masters in Food Science as well as her B.S. in Feed Science and Management from Kansas State University. She is a current member many industry societies including the AACCI and IFT. She has received numerous honors from AACCI and IFT, among others, and has sat on several important committees in the past.
