Flavor Tree Dark Chocolate PretzelsFlexible and Stackable Packaging
Flavor Tree Dark Chocolate Pretzels from John B. Sanfilippo & Son celebrated the holiday season with a new flexible, stackable, and recloseable package from Clear Lam Packaging. The new limited edition packaging features a gift wrapped design for the holidays and weighs about 70% less than traditional rigid packaging, such as plastic jars. Made from a single roll of film on a PrimaPak bagging machine, the package’s six sides enhance shelf impact.

To create a flexible package capable of being stacked and to better protect the product inside, Clear Lam developed a new method of enhancing the package rigidity. The end result is a pop-up box shape with greater consumer appeal. The finished package retains its shape, performs well during transport, and stores easily on retail shelves as well as in consumer pantries. In addition, a “peel and reseal” lid opens easily, stays open, and reseals to the package with a light touch.
