Freshman Scholarships
Awarded to scholastically outstanding seniors entering college for the first time at an IFT approved program in food science.
(15) $1,000 Feeding Tomorrow
General scholarships from the Feeding Tomorrow Scholarship Fund.
(1) $1,000 IFT Student Association George R. Foster Memorial
Scholarship in memory of IFT employee George R. Foster.
Sophomore Scholarships
Awarded to scholastically outstanding freshman with at least a 3.0 GPA (A=4.0), either pursuing or transferring to an IFT approved program in food science/technology.
(1) $1,000 Evan Turek Memorial Scholarship/Kraft Foods Internship -- NEW
Kraft Foods is sponsoring one paid summer internship for 2012 and a $1,000 scholarship for the 2012-2013 academic year. The scholarship and internship are available to a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in food science with a focus in chemistry, dairy science, agricultural/food engineering, food packaging, and non-thermal processing.

PAYMENTS
All Feeding Tomorrow Scholarships will be distributed in two payments, August 15 and January 15, through the department heads. Upon receiving each payment we ask the department heads to verify registration of the scholarship recipients.
In addition, all recipients will receive recognition at a Regional Section meeting where the university is located, by a representative of the sponsor whenever possible.
