Traceability and Food Safety Systems

This webcast is in partnership with and organized by the IFT Washington DC Section.  Traceability is a new regulatory imperative of the Food Safety Modernization Act. As FDA develops implementing guidelines, the industry is collaborating to develop background and guidance information to better inform development of regulations.

A perspective on industry participation in development of international standards and guidance for the use of traceability in trade will be provided along with an overview of the IFT work programs on traceability including the role of IFT in the FDA pilot program.
