Sustainability: Impacting People, Profits, and the Place you Live
This is a joint meeting with CSIFT and the ChemPharma Professional Association on a topic that is on everyone's mind these days: Sustainability. Come and hear how our speaker Audra Karalius, Vice President Sustainability, Environment and Safety for Sara Lee, is guiding her company through this new era of corporate responsibility.
Sustainability is the intersection of the economic, environmental and equitable aspects of business. It's really about providing maximum value with minimum resources. Audra will lead an interactive discussion of what sustainability means at Sara Lee and what it can mean for the food industry as a whole.
We will discuss the challenges and opportunities for our business strategies in addressing today's issues such as childhood and adult obesity, sustainable sourcing, climate change, water scarcity and sustainable consumption.
