    III International Symposium on Medicinal and Nutraceutical Plants (3ISMNP) & III Conference of National Institute of Science & Technology for Tropical Fruits

    The main objective of the event is to have high quality talks by prominent researchers, scientists, professors, technical persons and industrial experts discussing a wide variety of matters associated with the current assessment and development of medicines from plants, use of nutraceuticals in the light of functional foods and researches on development of promising products from tropical fruits. The main theme of the symposium is “Brazilian Heritage: Current Status & Perspectives”.

    The goal of the conference is to provide a scientific forum covering important areas of pharmacology, botany, toxicology, biological activity, ethnobiology, pharmacognosy, chemistry of natural compounds and analytical methods related to the development of herbal medicines and nutraceuticals. The potential that Brazil presents due to its vast biodiversity of plants will be an added asset and main contribution of the symposium.
