WEBINAR: Forecasting Trends with Cultural Sensibility and Scientific Intelligence: 2014 RCA Annual Conference Sneak Peek
Forecasting Trends with Cultural Sensibility and Scientific Intelligence:
A 2014 RCA Annual Conference Sneak Peek February 19, 2014 2–3 p.m. EST
Ever wonder how and why companies decide to enter a trend or what they do when a trend takes a dive off a cliff? Or, is your "trend" really just a "fad" or a good new fashioned "stunt"? The reality is: You just can't follow the trends. In order to be successful, brands must look at the bigger picture and create their own trends based on both cultural and scientific intelligence. The Research Chefs Association (RCA) is pleased to bring together two dynamic presenters from the 2014 RCA Annual Conference in this webinar "mash up" titled: Forecasting Trends with Cultural Sensibility and Scientific Intelligence. Suzy Badaracco, MS, RD, an expert on practicing trends intelligence and predictive forecasting, along with and Chef Andrew Hunter, an R&D master, will tee-up an interactive discussion on how to forecast trends with a cultural sensibility and scientific intelligence.
Suzy and Andrew are participating in two different panels on the topic at the Portland Conference. This webinar will take their seemingly different perspectives and weave together divergent concepts in a discussion that will help you identify larger trend patterns. The objective is to jump-start your thinking, prior to Portland, on how to define and distill trends' impact your brand and business. You will leave this one hour webinar feeling empowered and enlightened and hungry for more when you arrive in Portland!
Join the RCA on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, from 2–3 p.m. EST for this complimentary webinar geared toward providing RCA members and others in the field of food R&D with new educational offerings and a sneak peek into the 2014 RCA Annual Conference! Certificates of continuing education credits are available upon request.
