IFT's first-ever Food Policy Impact was a success. The one-day event, preceded by a two-day Short Course on food labeling, brought 100+ like minds and organizations in food laws, regulations and policy together to better understand current food policy and institute compliance approaches within their own environments.
Through regulatory interpretation, analysis of emerging issues and realistic assessments of the impact of laws on the industry, participants left with actionable information they could use immediately upon returning to their offices.
Participants who attended Food Policy Impact got:
- First-line access to industry best practices that are immediately applicable to your organization's existing strategies
- Updates directly from government officials who make food policy and guidance documents
- Insights from other organizations venturing into the field of self-regulation and/or leading product tracing efforts
- Access to food policy and regulatory professionals in an open, comfortable environment
- A year-round peer network for discussion with other organizations following the event
