Tour of Wegmans' Culinary Innovation Center
 

The April WNYIFT activity is a tour of the Wegmans' Culinary Innovation Center, scheduled for Wednesday April 17th.  

The Culinary Innovation Center (CIC) is Wegmans’ newest manufacturing plant, the $36 million facility opened in March 2009. Located at 360 Wegmans Market Street, the primary intent of this building is Research and Development. The core business in this facility is divided into two areas: The Central Kitchen (CK) and Marinades. The CK is responsible for producing Wegmans brand soups and sauces which are then packaged and sent to the stores. Marinades is responsible for marinating and packaging various beef, pork, and chicken products which are also then sent to the stores. The Culinary Innovation Center is an exciting new endeavor for the company and they look forward to sharing their experience with WNYIFT. 

Important to know prior to the tour:

Space is limited, so please register early to guarantee your spot. Upon receiving your registration information, Olga will send you an email confirming your registration if space is still available.
