Nomination Criteria (requires a minimum of 3)
•   Employee attendance at Section meetings
•   Employee participation on Section Board or committee
•   Newsletter article contribution
•   Financial contribution to section
•   Provide speaker or Plant tour during meeting date

Nomination Process
•   Applications can come from general membership or Executive Board Member
•   Completed application should be submitted to the Board 
•   Review & approval by Section Board Members
•   Notification of awardees
•   Notification of nominator

Award/Recognition
•   Plaque to display at the winner’s facility which would show the Dogwood section logo/IFT logo
•   Recognition in the section newsletter, and Food Technology
•   Some type of recognition for industry members at meetings (i.e. special name badge, ribbon, IFT lapel pin.)

Timing
•   Present Industry awards annually at last meeting of the year
