The Iowa Section-IFT Outstanding Undergraduate Scholarship ($500) and the Iowa Section-IFT Outstanding Graduate Scholarship ($500) are sponsored by the Iowa-IFT Section. These scholarships are awarded to an undergraduate and a graduate student who has demonstrated participation and leadership within the Iowa Section of IFT. All students, including Spring graduates are eligible.

The Iowa Food Industry Scholarships are sponsored by several Iowa food-related companies. This scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student who has been involved with the food industry through research, internships or other activities.

The scholarship committee will review each applicant's academic record, extra curricular
activities (in addition to IFT), internships/work experience and letters of recommendation.

The MFPC Memorial Scholarship was started in the spring of 2010 using the remaining funds from the Midwest Food Processing Conference. MFPC was discontinued in 2008 after a long run of great events. The criteria for the scholarship are the same as the Iowa Section-IFT Outstanding Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarships.
