The Maryland Section of IFT supports the Institute of Food Technologists Student Association [IFTSA] by:

•     Providing pizza nights to the University of Maryland Food Science Club which include local employers, food scientists, food technologists, etc. where the students can ask questions about careers, internships, etc.
•     Sponsoring the annual Fun Run at the Annual Meeting & Food Expo
•     Donating funds and food to University of Maryland Food Science Club in preparation of the Product Development Competitions
•     Sponsoring a poster competition at our Suppliers' Night with cash prizes
