LEGISLATIVE COORDINATOR
The Legislative Coordinator is an officer, appointed by the Chair. The function of the Legislative Coordinator is to represent the NCIFT on legislative issues, both at the state and local level as well as the national level, where involvement of NCIFT is appropriate. The Legislative Coordinator can hold this position until he or she resigns or is replaced by the Chair.
DUTIES
1. Communicate with National IFT on legislative issues of concern to the NCIFT.
2. Respond to suggestions from National IFT regarding state and local legislative issues of interest to the IFT.
3. Where appropriate, report to the NCIFT Executive Committee at Executive Committee meetings on legislation which is of interest to members.
4. Prepare articles on legislative issues for submission to the Hornblower.
