Membership in the Puget Sound IFT runs
from January 1st
through December 31st

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
| Regional Members - INSTITUTE members who are also members of the Section (Qualified to vote or hold office). | DUES: $10 |
| Regional Associates - NOT INSTITUTE members. | DUES: $10 |
| Emeritus Member - Emeritus Membership is granted to retiring members with a membership tenure of 20 or more years. Emeritus Members do not pay dues and receive substantial discounts on publication subscriptions and event registrations. | NO DUES |
| Student Members - a full-time student working toward an Associate or higher degree in food science/technology or a related field. | DUES: $10 |

ANNUAL DUES
(Any adjustment to the annual dues for Regional Members,
Associate Members, Emeritus Members
and Student Members is submitted to
the executive committee before implementation)
The dues year is from January 1 through December 31 of each calendar year.
Members in arrears over 60 days (end of February) shall be dropped
from the official rolls of
the SECTION.
PRORATION OF DUES
Applications received between November 1 and May 1 require a full year's dues.
Student Member applications received between
November 1 and August 1, the dues will be credited
to the current
calendar year.
Graduating Student Member applying for Member
status will be granted a fifty percent (50%)
discount during their
first full year of full Member status.
A member with Emeritus status pays no dues.
