Celebrating the Translation of Food and Nutrition Science to Consumer Action

 

The annual Washington DC Section of the Institute of Food Technologists holiday program and party will be held on December 17th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the National Academy of Science’s Koshland Science Museum (525 E Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001).  The Museum’s new “Food For Thought” exhibit is the perfect backdrop for mingling with colleagues and engaging in some holiday cheer.  The keynote address will be given by Dr. Erika Shugart, Deputy Director of the Koshland Science Museum, about the engaging new exhibit.

 

Please plan to join your colleagues and hear from Dr. Shugart while enjoying drinks and refreshments!  The cost is for the event is $20 (non-IFT members), $15 (members), or $5 (students). All attendees will receive free entry to the museum for the exclusive event, open bar from 6:30—7:30 PM (valid state issue ID may be required) and an assortment of hors d’oeuvres with their registration.
