Letter from the Chair

Just three short months ago, Hondo’s message began…”Summer is fast approaching and summer vacations will begin at the workplace soon! I wish everyone a safe and wonderful summer.” Well it’s hard to believe that Fall is now fast approaching and those vacation days are winding down. I hope it was indeed a safe and wonderful summer for all!

The Executive Committee has already begun plans for what we hope will be a fun and eventful year. We’ll kick off the year with the 3rd annual WIFT Golf Outing and Dinner on September 15th at Western Lakes Golf Club in Pewaukee. (Don’t forget to get your reservations in…now)!

Other events to watch for include: Moraine Park Technical College Culinary Arts Center dinner and tour in October in Fond du Lac; a brewery tour with beer and wine pairing; and, possibly a coffee and dessert (including chocolate!) presentation. And, of course, always a chance for quality speakers, networking and catching up with friends and colleagues.

WIFT Directory

Since most of the WIFT membership is now online, the WIFT chose not to have a printed directory. To access national IFT’s directory:

· Go to www.ift.org

· Choose Membership from the menu to the left

· Choose Membership Directory

· Log in on the log in screen

· You can then search the directory

For first time users, please follow the instruction on the log in screen for creating a log in. You must know your IFT membership ID number (can be found on your membership card).

Once logged in, you can also verify your directory information or change it right on the website. By updating your information online, both national and the Wisconsin section IFT can get your changes.
