Stacy Pyett, PhD

Background

Stacy Pyett grew up in Ohio and has lived in The Netherlands for the past 14 years. She’s happy to chat about the pros and cons of life abroad, but please don’t tell her she has a Dutch accent! Stacy works at Wageningen University & Research as Program Manager Proteins for Life. In that role, she is responsible for engaging with industry and academic partners to advance research in the protein field. Prior to her current role, Stacy worked for NIZO, a contract research organization, in various roles ending as Global Key Account Manager Dairy. She got her start in the food business as a Research Scientist at Campina, a Dutch dairy cooperative. 

IFT Highlights

Prior to joining the IFT Board, Stacy was active in the IFT divisions. She got her start in the Dairy Division back in in 2010. In 2015, Stacy worked together with the team initiating the IFT Protein Division and has held various leadership roles in the division since.
