The item "Enzyme receives GRAS status" on p. 14 of the July 2007 issue incorrectly identified Aspergillus niger as bacteria. It is a fungus.

In the article "GRAS Flavoring Substances 23" in the August 2007 issue, the wrong body weight was included in the "Calculation of Intake" sidebar on p. 26. The denominator of the second equation should have read "60-kg body weight," not 80. It has been corrected in the online version of the article.
