Join experts at IFT’s Food Policy Impact
Establishing food regulations and standards and local, national, and international public policies is critical to ensuring sustainable food safety. IFT’s inaugural Food Policy Impact conference, taking place Dec. 1, 2011, at the Sheraton Crystal City, Arlington, Va., will address these issues through regulatory interpretation, analysis of emerging issues, and assessments of the impact of laws on the industry.

You will get first-line access to industry best practices that you can apply to your organization’s existing strategies; hear updates from government officials who make food policy decisions; learn from organizations that are adopting self-regulation efforts or leading product tracing efforts; and network with other professionals.

IFT will also hold a pre-conference short course, Labeling Requirements and Implications for Foods Marketed in the U.S., on Nov. 29-30, and a post-conference webcast, Intersection of Food, Policy, and Profitability: Obstacles and Opportunities for the Private and Public Sectors, on Dec. 7. For more information, visit www.ift.org , or contact IFT at [email protected].
