IFT Scientific Program
2012 IFT Scientific Program Preview
The Scientific Program will encompass more than 100 educational sessions and 1,200 poster presentations. The program has been organized around seven key focus areas and four core sciences. The key focus area program tracks are Food Safety & Defense; Food, Health & Nutrition; Food Processing & Packaging; Product Development & Ingredient Innovations; Sustainability; Public Policy, Food Laws & Regulations; and Education & Professional Development. Below is the IFT Annual Meeting Scientific Program as of press time, with one exception—due to space limitations, the titles and presenters of the individual poster session papers are not included. A complete text-searchable version of the Scientific Program, including titles, authors, abstracts of papers, and the posters, is available at www.am-fe.ift.org/cms/?pid=1000496. The final, complete Scientific Program will be published in the 2012 IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo® Program & Exhibit Directory, which will be distributed to registrants at the Annual Meeting.
The complete Book of Abstracts can be purchased either online during advance registration, at www.am-fe.ift.org/cms/?pid=1000642, or (subject to availability) at the Tickets/Book of Abstracts Desk in the registration area of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Book of Abstracts will be available in either print or digital format.
