Gum enhances energy, sleep
Khloros Innovation, a Canadian-based maker of chewable supplements, has debuted Chewpod, a functional gum available in two formulations—one to increase energy and another to improve sleep.
The Energy On Demand formulation uses a combination of vitamins and supplements to provide a natural energy boost without unpleasant side effects and with no risk of energy crashing. The Sleep On Demand formulation is designed to combat fatigue due to shift changes, jet lag, and occasional sleeplessness, using a unique blend of melatonin and natural sleep supplements to help increase sleep time and reset the body’s natural sleep cycle.
“Chewpod is an easy and fast solution for men and women looking for more energy and better sleep,” says Joey Thiffault, president and co-founder of Chewpod. “Consumers will see immediate results and will be able to live a more productive and energized life.”
Chewpod products are available online for a suggested retail price of $5 for a single pack of four servings. Bundles of four and 10 are also available for a suggested retail price of $18 and $40, respectively.

Infant formula supports cognition
The Mead Johnson Nutrition unit of Reckitt Benckiser (RB) recently introduced Enfamil NeuroPro, the first formula in the United States that contains milk fat globule membrane (MFGM) , a unique component found in human breast milk that plays an important role in brain structure and function.
“Enfamil advanced infant nutrition with the addition of a DHA ingredient to formula 17 years ago. Milk fat globule membrane (MFGM) is Enfamil’s biggest advancement to the category since that time and we’re proud to continue leading the way for innovation,” says Christina J. Valentine, North America medical director IFCN, RB. “At Enfamil, we believe in giving infants the best start in life with formulas that are inspired by breast milk.”
Enfamil NeuroPro can be found online and at select U.S. retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $27.99.
