Beverage blends dairy with almonds or oats

Live Real Farms has introduced Dairy Plus Milk Blends, a beverage that combines lactose-free dairy with almonds or oats to create a perfect pairing of natural ingredients. The blends are available in five varieties—Dairy Plus Almond–Original, Dairy Plus Almond–Unsweetened Vanilla, Dairy Plus Almond–Sweetened Vanilla, Dairy Plus Almond–Chocolate, and Dairy Plus Oat–Original—and can be enjoyed on their own, in coffee or a smoothie, or with cereal.

“We recognized an opportunity in the value-added milk category’s growth areas—products like lactose-free and flavored milk—and created an option that offers the protein-packed goodness of pure dairy milk with the flavors and versatility of alternatives in one great-tasting beverage,” says Rachel Kyllo, senior vice president of growth & innovation.

The Live Real Farms brand was developed by Dairy Farmers of America and is owned by more than 8,000 family farmers across the United States. Dairy Plus Milk Blends are available at supermarkets in Minnesota at a suggested retail price of $3.99 to $4.69 and will begin to expand nationally in early 2020.

Stir-fry noodles in a cup

Nissin Foods debuted its first soupless offering, Cup Noodles Stir Fry, a flavorful noodle meal that comes in a microwavable cup, offering consumers a way to enjoy an authentic stir fry–style meal on the go.

“At Nissin Foods, we value consumer feedback and are always looking to deliver new and exciting taste experiences to our growing fan base,” says Jackie Park, vice president of marketing. “After learning from consumers that they loved the idea of bringing Cup Noodles and stir-fry flavors together, we knew we had to deliver.”

Cup Noodles Stir Fry comes in three flavors: Korean BBQ, Teriyaki Beef, and vegetarian-friendly Sweet Chili. To create a seamless meal experience, each package includes a variety of high-quality vegetables for added flavor and texture.

Cup Noodles Stir Fry can be found in Walmart stores and will be available at additional retailers in December for a suggested retail price of $0.99.

Protein puffs in three flavors

In a quest to make healthy snacking yummy, Fitjoy has launched Grain Free Protein Puffs, a light and airy snack that packs a great crunch and is free of grains, gluten, soy, corn, and artificial flavors and sweeteners.

The keto-friendly puffs come in three delicious flavors—Honey Sriracha, White Cheddar, and Nacho Cheese—and make a great choice for macronutrient-conscious consumers. Each 30-gram bag has only 140 calories, along with 17–18 grams of protein and 3–4 grams of net carbs.

“Everybody loves a good snack puff,” says Scott Sturgill, head of innovation and product development. “The challenge here was creating a puff with nutritional benefits without sacrificing flavor. We exceeded all of our expectations and created not one but three amazing flavors of puffs that our customers can feel great about eating.”

FitJoy Grain Free Protein Puffs are available online and at select retail stores for a suggested retail price of $2.99.
