The Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research seeks nominations for its 2019 New Innovator in Food and Agriculture Research Award. Faculty members at eligible institutions who have the creative ideas, skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to carry out research as Principal Investigators and who are near the onset of their independent research career are invited to work with their institution to develop an application for support. Target research categories, eligibility criteria, and other details are available here (pdf). Nominations are due February 28 at 3:00 p.m. ET. Nominees may then submit full proposals by March 11 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
