The Foremost Farms USA board of directors has announced that Greg Schlafer will join the dairy cooperative as president and CEO on Dec. 2, 2019. Schlafer assumes leadership of the company following the retirement of Michael Doyle. Schlafer brings more than 25 years of experience in the food industry and a proven track record of business and leadership success to his role at Foremost.

Schlafer most recently served as vice president, food group sales and marketing at J.R. Simplot. Prior to that, he was president of Lamb Weston, a division of ConAgra Foods. Schlafer started his career at General Mills where he assumed roles of increasing responsibility including vice president and general manager, bakeries and foodservice division.
