Grupo LALA to acquire Vigor Alimentos for $1.8 billion

Grupo LALA has announced that its board of directors has agreed to the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Vigor Alimentos, a Brazilian dairy company, and directly or indirectly, 100% of the shares of Itambé Alimentos, another Brazilian dairy company, for R$5.73 billion (approximately USD$1.83 billion).
