The Barry Callebaut Group has recently reopened the Chocolate Academy Mexico, its remodeled training center in Mexico City. The Chocolate Academy Mexico, which first opened in September 2012, is committed to empowering chefs of all kinds to learn about new chocolate products and techniques at one destination. Innovation sessions are also hosted for Barry Callebaut’s customers, providing insights and methodology that can be applied to their end products. In total, Barry Callebaut has 19 Chocolate Academies throughout the world.

“The Chocolate Academy Mexico will help empower the chocolate sector, introducing products and offering courses in the same place,” said Jesus Carlos Valencia, general manager for Barry Callebaut Latin America. “It will lead to an increase in the number of people attending the Chocolate Academy in Mexico. This supports the main goal of the facility: to inspire and teach new generations about working with, and consuming chocolate.”
