Cooke to acquire Omega Protein for nearly $500 million
Cooke, parent company of Cooke Aquaculture, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all outstanding shares of Omega Protein, a nutritional product company and an integrated provider of specialty oils and specialty protein products, for $22.00 per share in cash, or approximately $500 million.
