EU, FAO join forces to tackle food waste, antimicrobial resistance
Vytenis Andriukaitis, the European Union’s (EU) commissioner for health and food safety, and José Graziano da Silva, director-general of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), have agreed to ramp up collaboration between the two organizations in tackling the problems of waste in food supply chains and antimicrobial resistance.
