Food, agricultural products get caught in the middle of global trade conflict
According to CNBC, U.S. farmers and food producers are in the middle of a global trade conflict that shows no signs of subsiding anytime soon. On July 1, Canada started collecting a 10% tariff on $12.5 billion worth of U.S. products, including chocolate, ketchup, beef, orange juice, yogurt, whiskey, maple syrup, caffeinated roasted coffee, salad dressings, and soups.
