Lakeside Foods acquires Good Eats Food
Lakeside Foods has announced it will acquire Good Eats Food Co. and its products offered under the SER!OUS Bean Co. and Ruthie’s Twisted Harvest brands.
Lakeside Foods has announced it will acquire Good Eats Food Co. and its products offered under the SER!OUS Bean Co. and Ruthie’s Twisted Harvest brands. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition positions Lakeside to immediately expand its product offering and to broaden and accelerate development of new products.

Good Eats will operate as a division of Lakeside while cofounders, Matt Brown and Trey Taylor join the company to lead Lakeside’s sales and innovation efforts. Brown will lead sales for both Lakeside Foods and Good Eats as the vice president of sales while Taylor will lead marketing and innovation efforts. According to Brown and Taylor, the combination of Lakeside’s sourcing, manufacturing, product development, and logistics expertise will allow Good Eats to focus more attention on trends, consumer insights, and the development of new innovative products to help continue the success Good Eats has experienced in its first three years.
